Herb garden kits
A beautiful indoor herb garden can look fantastic on your window sill and bring you fresh, aromatic herbs all year long. They are incredibly easy to grow and care for and come in several different varieties depending on what you are looking grow. If you are looking to enhance your cooling, culinary herb kits are available but there are a couple different varieties of these as well.
Culinary herbs are sometimes split into Italian herbs (parsley, cilantro, oregano, for example) or non Italian herb sets. As a group, culinary herbs can include parsley, thyme, cilantro, basil, dill, oregano, chives, savory, garlic or sage. These herbs will make a fantastic addition to any meal that you may have planned.
Some people like to grow herbs for medicinal purposes. Herbs have been used for years to help with basic malady’s and are an organic way to take care of some of your ailments verses relying on medications. Some of the herbs in a medicinal kit may include echinacea, angelica, mint, yarrow, chamomile, St. Johns wort, lemon balm, Valerian, or cayenne.
Herbs for tea’s are also another type of garden to grow on your window sill. Fresh herbs for tea can make for an incredibly aromatic and flavorful cup of tea. These herbs can include lemon balm, catnip, rosemary, mint, chamomile, lavender, and lemon grass. Whenever using herbs for tea or for medical reasons, be sure to do your research on the preparation as some may need additional steps while others do not.
